Board Priorities
The Board of Directors of Westside Christian High School have the following strategic priorities:
We seek to inspire students with outstanding Bible curriculum and educators, so students develop a passion for a Christ-centered life of service prior to college.
In addition to Bible classes, we value the integration of a biblical worldview in every classroom and extracurricular activity.
We desire to see our students well-prepared for life beyond high school. Therefore, we view Westside as a “launching pad” for a life of service, not merely a “Christian bubble” to shelter them from the world.
Research shows many children from Christian families drift from their faith post high school. Our goal is to combat this trend so that every student grows in his/her faith throughout high school, college, and into adulthood. To that end, we intend to stay connected with our graduates to evaluate ourselves and find ways to sharpen our effectiveness. We have a medium-term enrollment goal of 75 students per class and a long-term goal of 100 per class. We are committed to providing an environment that is psychologically, physically and socially safe for all students.
